Auntie Em, Auntie Em!!!

Okay, truly to some people this is not a laughing matter (i.e. friends in the Pacific Northwest who don't do tornado drills in school).... Last night/morning about 2:30am the tornado sirens went off in Tulsa County. That is where we live. I am 32 years old, I have heard these things, you go into your basement/closet/safe place and you hang out with flashlights, radios, tv's, whatever, waiting to get the all clear. There is something about having a kiddo and going through this routine, makes it more scary. She and Matt lay there peacefully last night while I was worried about lots of things, but mostly about Matt's car, which was just paid off this month mind you, getting pelted with hail. Thinking to myself, should I back my car out into the driveway to get the *&%$subishi pelted in lieu of the good car? Oh no, that would be silly, but it did cross my mind, last time we were nailed with hail, my car raked in over $5K in damages. I remember back when mom used to ask me to go back out the old Benz into the driveway so she could pray hail damage would get her a new paintjob, ha ha ha! This is not a joke, she really did. Kinda freaky, but in a crazy way, exciting? Well, at least I don't have to water our new grass tonight!

**Oh, P.S. If any of your kids call me Auntie Em, they are dead to me**

I miss me.

Okay, I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. Seriously. My doctor told me this week that I have this infected lymph node. It's been hurting since February. Maybe I should have said something earlier? Now I know why I am like the chronic sick person. This is part of the reason for me not blogging in a while.... Being sick blows. I miss me with energy, don't you? Get ready, because I am on the mend.... LOOK OUT! (that was my sad attempt to pump myself up)
