Went to Chapel Hill, Raleigh and Durham, NC a few weeks ago. I thought it was okay, weather was nice, saw an old friend, met some new........ There is a really bizarro thing about the trees they have there. When the wind blows, they all sway A LOT and it looks like they will fall over! Freaky Friday! I didn't like it. As I looked up in the midst of a forest of trees at Duke University gardens, it seemed like a form of vertigo and they were all going to fall on me. Not a huge fan of the pine tree family it seems. I did eat something interesting and "Yummo" if I am quoting Rachel Ray..... shrimp and grits. Who would have known?!?!? People are nice there, the scenery is nice, but I was so ready to go home to see Sophie. It was my first trip away from here, well and I missed Matt of course.
